We are happy to receive gifts. If it is a valuable gift we cherish it all the more and we express the joy of receiving it through a celebration. Christmas, which we have just celebrated, is nothing but a celebration of the exquisite gift which the world has received, gift of the saviour. It is Mother Mary who brought forth this supreme gift, the saviour of the world to us. We can be certain that she will obtain for us every blessing that we need in the New Year.
